Since 30 March 2026, PhET's maintained simulations are licensed CC BY-NC, so paid commercial use needs a licence from PhET; older versions stay CC BY but are no longer updated. Our figures are cleared for paid teaching, made to your syllabus and wording, and can be custom-built in days.

Yes. Every number on a figure comes from a small science model that is tested a second, different way. Then a separate review session (AI-assisted) checks every law, constant and caption before release, and we recommend a teacher spot-check too. If you ever find an error, we fix it free within 2 working days.

Yes, three ways. A one-off embed licence is US$9 a figure, paid once, for 1 website, and it keeps playing for as long as Figbox runs. Embed Unlimited covers every library figure on up to 3 websites for US$29 a month billed yearly, or US$49 month to month; it plays while the plan is paid, and if it ends a "licence ended" card shows instead. White-label (only your name under each figure, no Figbox) is US$39 a month billed yearly, or US$79 month to month. A centre licence or any custom figure also includes embedding. You get embed code locked to your own sites. The teacher subscription covers using every figure in your teaching, but not embedding it on your own site.

Yes. They scale to any width, respond to touch, mouse and keyboard, and go still for people who prefer reduced motion.
