What you buy
A licence to use our interactive figures, not ownership of them. Figbox keeps copyright in every figure. If you buy the Exclusive add-on for a custom figure, we never sell it to anyone else or add it to our library, and you get a permanent, exclusive licence.

Each embedded figure shows a short line with the licensee's name and Figbox. On white-label licences (the centre licence and white-label Embed Unlimited) it shows only the licensee's name. You may not resell or redistribute a figure, or remove that line.
Embedding and licence keys
Each embed licence has a key tied to the website domains you give us (their subdomains are included): 1 for a one-off figure, up to 3 for Embed Unlimited, a centre licence or a custom figure. The figure plays when someone opens your link directly or when it is embedded on those sites; on any other site it shows a licence card instead. You can list and change your domains from your account; after the first list, a change is checked by us (usually within 1 working day) before it applies. If a licence is shared to get around these limits, we may end it.
Centre accounts
A centre licence holder may add teachers of that centre to the licence and is responsible for them and for having the right to share their email addresses with us. We email each teacher to say they were added. Only the licence holder can change the licence's websites or its teacher list.
What you send us
You keep all rights in the briefs, photos and sketches you send. You give us permission to use them only to make and deliver your order. You confirm you have the right to share them and that they show no students or other people. We never trace or copy them; we draw our own apparatus.
Fair use of the site
Don't try to break, overload or copy the site or the figures' code, and don't use the figures for anything unlawful or misleading.
Custom work
A custom figure costs US$129 when the order has 1 to 4 figures and US$49 each when it has 5 or more. Rush or Express is one fee for the whole order, and covers every figure in it; a second order on Rush or Express pays its own fee. We confirm the plan within 12 hours (4 hours for Rush, 1 hour for Express). Delivery times (48 hours Standard, 24 hours Rush, 6 hours Express) run from payment with a complete brief; if we need to ask you something, from your answer. You get one free revision within 14 days of delivery, returned within 24 hours. See revisions and refunds.
Accuracy
Figures show simplified science models, described in each caption, and each one comes with a "What we checked" card. We check them carefully, but a model is not the real world, so please use your judgement as a teacher. If you find a science error, tell us and we fix it free within 2 working days.
How we make figures
We build figures with software tools, including AI assistance and an open-source drawing kit (see credits). Every figure's science is checked by a separate review before you get it.
Not affiliated
Topic names such as IGCSE, GCSE or O-Level describe what a figure covers. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any exam board.
Subscriptions and yearly licences
The monthly teacher subscription (US$10) and monthly Embed Unlimited (US$49, or US$79 white-label) renew each month until you cancel. Cancel online any time from your account (Manage subscription) or the link in your receipt email; it ends at the end of the month you've paid for. Yearly teacher subscriptions, yearly Embed Unlimited and centre licences last 12 months from payment and do not renew automatically. When a licence ends, its embeds show a renewal card instead of the figure.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. This limit does not apply to death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Nothing here limits rights you have by law as a consumer.
Prices and tax
Prices are in US dollars. Where VAT or GST applies, checkout shows it before you pay. Stripe is our merchant of record and works out any sales tax, VAT or GST at checkout.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version on the day you order applies to that order.
Who we are and governing law
Figbox, based in Singapore. These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Consumers in other countries keep the protections of their own local law.
