The drawing kit

Figbox figures are drawn with Anatomy, an open-source kit for isometric figures. We didn't create it; we're grateful to its author and use it under the MIT licence below. The figures' science models, graphs, designs and this site are our own work.

Fonts and images

The site uses two fonts, stored with the site and licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1: Martian Mono (Copyright 2020 The Martian Mono Project Authors, github.com/evilmartians/mono) and Instrument Sans (Copyright 2022 The Instrument Sans Project Authors, github.com/Instrument/instrument-sans). Their full licences: Martian Mono, Instrument Sans. The figures themselves use your device's own fonts. No stock images are used; every picture is drawn in code.

AI assistance

Figure code and site text are drafted with AI assistance (Claude, by Anthropic). Every figure's science is checked by a separate review, and a person checks every paid order before delivery.

Other tools

Print versions are made with a standard web browser. No other third-party code, fonts or images are included in the figures.
