Potometer: water uptake sim
A potometer measures water uptake, which estimates transpiration.
Potometer · water uptake · covers the GCSE, IGCSE, O-Level topic
What the sim shows
A potometer measures water uptake, which estimates transpiration. Change one condition at a time, let the shoot settle, then time the air bubble. The reservoir resets the bubble. All joints must be airtight and the shoot is fitted under water. Rates here are declared teaching examples, not measurements of a particular plant.
