What the sim shows
Soak equal potato strips for the same time, remove them, blot gently and weigh. Percentage change uses the starting mass as its denominator. The final percentage changes come from the lesson’s example data; intermediate times are a simple linear illustration. A strip starts at 5.000 g in this model; the balance reads to 0.001 g.
